Coachella Valley Behavioral Hospital (IBH) represents a pivotal advancement in mental health services for the greater Coachella Valley area.
This freestanding, single-story behavioral health hospital spans 7.71 acres and covers 75,000 square feet, providing 80 in-patient beds and employing around 275 people. As the only psychiatric hospital serving our district, it marks a crucial milestone for enhancing mental health services in the region.
Our team dedicated 25,000 man-hours of electrical work, installing 71 miles of wire to ensure the facility's reliability. We furnished and completed a fully functional OSHPD 1 facility with comprehensive normal, emergency, critical, and life safety power systems. The installation included a 2500A normal gear section, 1600A emergency gear section, 2-400A ATS, 1-1200A ATS, and a Caterpillar Model C27 PGBG 1000KVA generator.
